Puja Desai, DO

Resident Physician
Mercy Catholic Medical Center

Puja Desai, DO, is a PGY-1 Internal Medicine Preliminary Resident at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. She recently earned her medical degree from Michigan State University. She is from Troy, MI and completed her undergraduate training in biomedical engineering with a focus in biomechanics at Case Western Reserve University. In her free time, Puja loves dancing and performing with her dance company.

She is presenting a poster titled "Don’t Shrug Off Shoulder Injuries: A Retrospective Cohort Study of the Shoulder Injuries Found in Broadway Performers," here at AAPM&R '25, which examines the incidence and mechanism of injury in Broadway performers across seven different shows.
