Medical Student
Washington State University Elson S Floyd College of Medicine
My name is Natalie Stagnone (she/her/hers), and I am a third year medical student at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. I was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. I attended the University of Washington – Seattle where I received dual degrees in Neuroscience and Disability Studies. I am passionate about making my communities more inclusive and accessible for people with and without disabilities. During college, I co-founded Thurston County Inclusion, a nonprofit organization that creates activities for youth with and without disabilities, and I now sit on the board of directors. At WSU, I have continued to be involved with the disability community, including starting a Special Olympics unified team and a student organization focused on disability, chronic illnesses and neurodiversity. I am excited to bring these values of inclusion, compassion and innovation to my career, with a plan to pursue PM&R.
