Dr. Samuel Dona is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology with a secondary appointment in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He specializes in non-operative Sports Medicine and treats a wide-range of musculoskeletal disorders for all types of patients. In his practice, Dr. Dona incorporates a multimodal approach in the management of orthopaedic injuries and conditions to offer the best possible outcomes. This approach may include lifestyle modification, physical therapy, concussion management, or ultrasound-guided procedures. Using proven, evidence-based medicine, his goal is to improve the quality of life of every one of his patients. He has served as a medical consultant with the New York Jets (NFL) and the New York Red Bulls Academy (MLS). Most recently, he served as an Associate Team Physician for NJ/NY Gotham FC (NWSL). Currently, he is recognized as a preferred medical provider by the United States Soccer Federation and has served as a volunteer team physician at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
