Undergraduate Student (Graduated)
Georgia Institute of Technology
My name is Jaehyung "Tyler" Shin, and I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am currently a graduate researcher of the Foot & Ankle Research and Innovation Lab (FARIL), Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. I am currently interested in research topics related to Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), particularly in extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and hydrodilatation, and aim to produce research works that can improve patient clinical outcomes. My ultimate career goal is to be a physician-scientist. Therefore, I plan to apply for medical school in the upcoming cycle to gain a deeper understanding of medicine and develop more effective research strategies for patients while simultaneously treating them.
