Daniel M. Cushman, MD

Professor, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
University of Utah

Dan Cushman, M.D., is a professor in the University of Utah Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is the director of non-operative sports medicine research. He is board-certified in both Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and specializes in musculoskeletal ultrasound, nerve injuries, and endurance sports-specific injuries. He serves as the team physician for the University of Utah Track & Field and Cross-Country teams and is also the team physician for the University of Utah Swimming & Diving teams. His research interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound for the treatment/prevention of injury and low-cost treatment techniques.
