Michelle Nwufo, MS

Medical Student
University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine

Michelle Nwufo, MS, is a second-year PRIME-LA medical student enrolled in a joint Master’s/MD program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine. She received a bachelor’s of science degree in human biology and society with a concentration in public health and medicine and a minor in disability studies from UCLA. Additionally, she attained her master’s of science degree in environmental health sciences from the University of California, Irvine. She plans to obtain her MBA in addition to her MD in order to develop adequate knowledge of the complex organizational structure of healthcare systems. She is interested in studying the intersection between environmental factors, neurological dysfunction, orthopedic disorders, and both surgical and non-surgical outcomes.
