I am fourth-year medical student at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (FIU HWCOM) in Miami, FL applying to PM&R programs this cycle. I am currently working on multiple research projects related to a comprehensive lifestyle medicine approach to chronic low back pain, attitudes toward lifestyle medicne among inpatient rehabilitaion attendings, and functional measurements and body composition as determinants of prognosis in cancer patients. I enjoy everything sports-related, especially basketball, as well as hiking, distance running, learning languages, and exploring new cuisines with my fiance, who is also a medicial student at FIU. I am absolutely thrilled to be attending my first annual assembly and to have the opportunity to meet all of the amazing, dedicated people who make up this wonderful field.
