Dr. David Crandell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the Harvard Medical School. He is the Medical Director of the Amputee Program at Mass General Brigham (MGB) Spaulding Rehabilitation and a founding member of the Interdisciplinary Care for Amputees Clinic (ICAN) at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He directs the Amputee Rehabilitation Fellowship Program, combining rotations within MGB and the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He has broad background in working with patients with limb loss and a variety of musculoskeletal trauma including many of the survivors of the Boston Marathon Bombings in 2013.
