Muhammad Usman Ahmed, MS, is a medical student at New York Medical College (Class of 2026) with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He has a strong academic and clinical interest in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a focus on patient recovery, functional outcomes, and innovative approaches to rehabilitation. His current poster presentation and case report, The Role of Rehabilitation in Renal Recovery: A Case Report, is presented in partnership with Westchester Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Unit under the mentorship of Dr. Gohari, DO. Through this work, he aims to highlight rehabilitation’s role in systemic recovery and long-term patient outcomes.
