Kyle Agostini, OMS-III, Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine, is a medical student and researcher with academic interests in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, neurostimulation, and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). He has spearheaded multiple IRB-approved projects, including Campbell’s first clinical trial on guided cranial manipulation and a novel placebo modeling study integrating psychometrics and generative AI to quantify responsiveness.
Mr. Agostini served as an OMM Teaching Assistant, mentoring peers in clinical reasoning and hands-on techniques, and was elected Vice President of the Research Club and Class Representative to the Research and Scholarship Committee. His prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Northwell Health, where he managed interventional, electrophysiology, prevention, and heart failure trials, as well as summer research at UNC Chapel Hill’s Carolina Center for Neurostimulation, where he assisted in the trial design of the CHARGE pilot study investigating gamma-frequency tACS and at-home sleep EEG for memory.
Beyond research and education, he is a Knight of Malta with a longstanding commitment to service, including medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. He aspires to a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, dedicated to advancing research through AI-driven insights into placebo responsiveness and leveraging neurostimulation to enhance recovery, while restoring function and empowering patients through patient-centered rehabilitation.
