Paul G. Abboud, MD

Research Scientist
University of New Mexico School of Medicine

Paul Abboud, MD, is a Research Scientist in the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. His research interests include spinal cord injury (SCI), pain medicine, and pediatric rehabilitation, particularly in underserved settings. His current work bridges pain medicine and SCI rehabilitation, with a primary focus on restoring function and improving quality of life across diverse patient populations. As a recent medical graduate from Lebanon, he brings a global perspective to addressing the challenges of recovery, functionality, and long-term outcomes in rehabilitation medicine.
