Chad Burkholder, MD, is a fourth-year resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Hospitals Program. Originally from Wauseon, Ohio, he completed both his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, followed by an internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. His clinical interests include general rehabilitation and spasticity management. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing basketball and soccer, as well as spending time with his family. He is actively involved in the quality improvement committee at Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital and volunteers with Pelotonia in Columbus. His current poster presentation highlights a rare case of nontraumatic spinal cord injury, underscoring the diagnostic and rehabilitative challenges involved. He is committed to a career in general rehabilitation, aiming to provide comprehensive care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
