Student
Creighton University School of Medicine
Jonah Rallison is a third-year medical student at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. He first became interested in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation during his first year of medical school, initially drawn by the specialty’s focus on the musculoskeletal system. Over time, he has come to deeply appreciate PM&R for its longitudinal patient relationships, interdisciplinary teamwork, emphasis on functional outcomes, and—most of all—the amazing patients and providers who make the field so rewarding.
Jonah has been actively involved in research, including projects related to spinal cord injury, artificial intelligence applications in medicine, and clinical volunteering experiences. While research excites him, his true passions lie in service and mentorship. He has found great fulfillment in community engagement, particularly through work with a summer camp for children with spina bifida, adaptive sports, and volunteering with Special Olympics.
Leadership and mentorship are central to Jonah’s medical school experience. He serves as Vice President of the PM&R Interest Group at Creighton, a PHiT Medical Student Ambassador, and the Sports Chair for his medical school class. These roles have allowed him to help build community among peers while advocating for broader engagement with rehabilitation medicine.
Outside of medicine, Jonah enjoys staying active through sports and strength training, exploring the outdoors, cooking, gardening, and trying new restaurants. He is thrilled to attend AAPM&R 2025 to connect with colleagues, learn from leaders in the field, and continue exploring the many opportunities PM&R has to offer.
